About The Role

The IT Vendor Manager at IAG Cargo works within the IT Transformation and Office of the CDIO (OCDIO) function, with ownership of the vendor landscape across all teams within the Cargo Digital & IT function. The role supports the establishment and embedding of key Vendor Management capabilities for the IT function.

What You'll Do

  • Define and embed a strategic vendor model across all areas of Cargo Digital IT, including Innovation, Solution Delivery, Operations & Infrastructure and Cyber.
  • Deliver capabilities that drive transparency, simplification and automation into IAG Cargo through vendors.
  • Produce reporting to monitor that all applicable vendor services being delivered into IAG Cargo are aligned to agreed contractual obligations and meet agreed expectations.
  • Produce reporting that delivers visibility of IT vendor spend across IAG Cargo Digital & IT, supporting both supplier management, cost reporting and forecasting, and facilitating commercial discussions with suppliers.
  • Engage in vendor selection activities across all areas of Digital & IT.
  • Support the drive of cost reduction within the relevant area of IAG Cargo IT, with responsibility for delivering the associated task assigned.
  • Support the resolution of vendor disputes as they may arise.

What you'll bring to IAG Cargo:

  • Ensure contracts stay aligned to business needs through key stakeholder engagement, to understand and shape business requirements for the short and long term.
  • Thoroughly review existing contracts, to avoid disputes and have the best possible outcomes for Cargo IT, and drive excellence in new contracts and contract renewals.
  • Produce data-driven reporting to measure vendor performance and address identified gaps through improvement plans or contractual levers.
  • Build commercial transparency with vendors to drive robust pricing models.
  • Ensure services delivered by vendors are correctly measured and associated SLAs and KPI metrics are fit for purpose, adding value to the operating companies.
  • Support the management of vendor relationships, creating a positive and collaborative working environment for the betterment of IAG Cargo.

Skills And Experience

  • Has a minimum of 5 years working in a vendor management function.
  • Experienced working with vendors who operate with offshore, near shore and on-site models.
  • Demonstrates and applies a deep understanding of third-party supplier management principles.
  • Demonstrates and applies deep understanding of service value.
  • Demonstrates and applies strong understanding of IT contracts.
  • Supports the implementation of changes to help shape the future direction of 3rd party relationships.
  • Collaborative, open working, resulting in recognition as a valued partner by colleagues, customers and senior stakeholders across organisation.
  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activities.
