About the role: You will play a crucial role in setting the direction and delivering long-term changes, improvements and additions to our physical infrastructure at our key hubs at London Heathrow, Madrid and Dublin. You will be responsible for capturing business requirements, investigating and assessing options to meet those requirements, while using data to support decision-making. You will be responsible for analysing and designing solutions which enable us to grow our business and enhance our infrastructure. These enhancements could include increasing capacity, operational efficiency, sustainability or cost-effectiveness of our facilities.
You will be required to engage at various levels within the organisation to capture business requirements, develop detailed analyses and help to translate these into a coherent and deliverable Infrastructure strategy. You will develop and shape strategic plans, bringing strong skills in data modelling, critical thinking, problem-solving and logical reasoning. The role is broad, requiring an ability to carry out analyses and justifications across a range of categories to support the overall infrastructure strategic vision.
What you’ll do:
- Undertake data-led analyses to assess current infrastructure suitability and to validate infrastructure expenditure as part of the overall strategy.
- Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to capture business requirements and gather and interpret data from a wide range of sources.
- Lead on the development of business cases once the direction is agreed and ahead of implementation.
- Engage with business functions to gain a deep understanding of the infrastructure facilities and operational processes.
- Capture and document business requirements from various stakeholders and help to translate these into key infrastructure requirements.
- Provide analytical expertise, bespoke analyses, and support insight driven decision-making.
- Undertake a range of analyses to validate long-term strategic decision-making by modelling future infrastructure needs and requirements at key hubs based on growth and wider factors.
- Develop detailed models to understand current infrastructure utilisation and forecast to estimate future bottlenecks.
- Provide deep insight to critical business questions using a variety of analytical tools and sources.
- Lead or support workshops on optioneering and support in options analysis and assessment.
- Lead on the production of business cases to deliver the Infrastructure strategy, employing skills in analysis, critical thinking, presentation and persuasion to navigate internal approvals.

Skills and Experience:
Essential Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical subject or equivalent experience.
- Demonstratable experience of successfully performing an analytical role in various settings.
- Analysing complex issues, packaging findings and presenting effectively to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis, modelling, forecasting and visualisation (advanced level of Excel is essential).
- Adept at producing compelling, engaging and persuasive PowerPoint reports of summarised analysis.
- Experience of requirement documentation and process engineering.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with visualisation software, e.g. Tableau.
- Experience working with SQL.
- Experience leading Business Case development.
- Experience of major business change programmes.
