About the Role
The HR Advisor contributes to the delivery of the IAG Cargo people strategy. The individual will be responsible for providing a range of high-quality HR services to the partners in the business, identifying and delivering suitable solutions to address the priorities and challenges of business areas and acting as an advisor on people issues. You will be working as part of a wider HR team with broad remit where you will also have the opportunity to increase your knowledge and develop expertise in various HR specialisms. We are looking for a proactive, self-starter who has a passion for the people agenda and who can embrace and drive change.
What You’ll Do
- You will support the HR Business Partners in identifying the appropriate people strategies for the relevant units as well as in implementing frameworks and objectives that will deliver results.
- Ensuring that the HR service provision is operating as required.
- Act as an advisor on operational HR issues and processes at employee and manager levels.
- Support on a wide range of ER related meetings including acting as note-taker and advisor.
- Responsible for supporting Managers with the right tools and enabling them to ensure employee performance is optimised, identifying and where required, facilitating appropriate interventions.
- Support the delivery of engagement initiatives both locally and internationally.
- Take a proactive approach to professional development for yourself and others, using internal and external networks and resources to advance and share knowledge.
- Drive the delivery of key people projects and/or organisational change.
- Support the bi-annual performance management; pay/bonus and incentive processes.
- Provide support for the implementation of People strategy initiatives globally and drive change initiatives in managing the people aspects of change.
- Providing partner support to deliver a high performing organisation capable of delivering the business objectives, change programmes and leading and owning the Wellbeing and inclusion strategic programme for all IAG Cargo.
- Work with business to ensure resource approval requests are processed correctly on a defined schedule and once all required analysis has been completed.
- Act as a clear interface between OpCo HR partners, pay and services, and IAG Cargo Limited employees.
