IAC is proud to work with one of the world's leading health and science research trusts. Our client is looking for a Legal Compliance Manager to join for an initial basis of 12-14 weeks. The role's primary objective is to provide support within the areas of modern slavery compliance, conflict of interest management, and rolling out an organisation-wide framework for policy management.
This is an operational role with responsibility for:
- Drafting statements that will reach EXCO
- Developing company-wide policies
- Dealing with senior stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have deep compliance expertise in:
- Conflict of interest
- Modern slavery
- Policy management
My client prefers a qualified lawyer, if possible, as well as experience in financial crime. If you can think outside the box, identify gaps in complex processes, and translate technical compliance requirements for a range of audiences, this could be the right role for you.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in compliance
- Experience in financial services
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible, can-do approach to problem solving
My client asks workers to be in its Central London office three days per week. There is scope for contract extension at the end of the initial period.
