Responsibilities
- Day-to-day yard duties with a focus on vehicle movement and organisation ensuring vehicles are processed along company pathway for deliveries, collections, marketing, and storage
- Clean vehicles as necessary to ensure high quality images
- Processing of logbooks, doc pack and keys that are either filed safely or disposed of correctly following GDPR rules
- Supporting GDPR & Salvage Personal Belongings Team with GDPR compliance & contractual SLAβs
- Ensuring quality control every step of the way with no damage to vehicles or parts
- Liaising with customers or our drivers loading and offloading vehicles
- Meet and greet customers coming to site, organise them for loading and help with their outstanding payments ensuring they all enter site appropriately dressed with the correct PPE
- Maintain and take ownership of general housekeeping within your area and manage to a high standard to create a safe and streamlined environment
- Supporting with processing stock inventory
- Destickering (taking stickers off vehicles) in line with client agreements and compliance
- Maintaining the highest health & safety standards within the work environment
What You Bring
- Suitable candidates must have a full driving license
- Experience of working outside in all weathers
- The ability to accurately record the damage of vehicles, onto our system in a clear and concise manner
- Experience of using a forklift would be an advantage but not essential (onsite Forklift training with a reputable provider will be funded by the company)
- Able to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Previous experience working in a salvage site and knowledge and/or an interest in motor vehicles would also be desirable but not essential
