We are seeking a skilled and experienced AQP Engineer / Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our Vehicle Sales Supply Team at IAA. This is a remote-based role, with occasional travel required to our sites in Doncaster, Winsford, or Gloucester.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle damage assessments via physical inspections or image-based reviews.
- Create and review repair estimates using Audatex.
- Support salvage categorisation in accordance with the latest Motor Vehicle Salvage Code of Practice.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve salvage queries and provide technical expertise.
- Make informed decisions quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in the motor vehicle repair industry.
- Proficiency with Audatex and knowledge of vehicle damage assessment best practices.
- Ideally qualified to ATA VDA AQP standard and a member of the IAEA.
- In-depth understanding of salvage processes and the latest Motor Vehicle Salvage Code of Practice.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent time management, organisation, and accuracy.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- IAEA AQP qualification (or currently working towards it).
