We are seeking a skilled and experienced AQP Engineer / Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our Vehicle Sales Supply Team at IAA. This is a remote-based role, with occasional travel required to our sites in Doncaster, Winsford, or Gloucester.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle damage assessments via physical inspections or image-based reviews.
  • Create and review repair estimates using Audatex.
  • Support salvage categorisation in accordance with the latest Motor Vehicle Salvage Code of Practice.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve salvage queries and provide technical expertise.
  • Make informed decisions quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in the motor vehicle repair industry.
  • Proficiency with Audatex and knowledge of vehicle damage assessment best practices.
  • Ideally qualified to ATA VDA AQP standard and a member of the IAEA.
  • In-depth understanding of salvage processes and the latest Motor Vehicle Salvage Code of Practice.
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent time management, organisation, and accuracy.
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • IAEA AQP qualification (or currently working towards it).
