Are you a passionate Early Childhood Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact during the most important years of a child's development? The Hive Brighton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our growing early learning team. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional educational programs while working in a supportive environment that values collaboration, professional growth and high-quality outcomes for children.

The Opportunity

  • Deliver a high-quality kindergarten program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning
  • Observe, assess and document children's learning and development
  • Foster children's independence, creativity, critical thinking and social-emotional wellbeing
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families through open and meaningful communication
  • Mentor and collaborate with educators to support best practice across the team

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Minimum two years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Strong communication, leadership and relationship-building skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality educational outcomes and mentoring fellow educators
