Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Shipdham, Norfolk

Working Hours: Working pattern will be Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5.00pm, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour.

Salary: £15,600.00 to £24,784.76 per annum, to be discussed on application.

We are looking for a full-time Accounts Assistant Apprentice to be based within the Accounts Department.

Enrolment onto the following Apprenticeship: Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 through City College Norwich, with the opportunity for continuation onto Level 3.

Comprehensive training and continual support to help you excel in the role will be provided.

The Role:

Working collaboratively, you will be responsible for:

  • Sending of Customer Sales Invoices
  • Filing of various account documents
  • Raising of monthly Sales Invoices
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
  • Matching of relevant paperwork to supplier invoices and ensuring they are authorized by the relevant department
  • Inputting of Supplier invoices ensuring accuracy to cost coding
  • Dealing with invoice queries – liaising with relevant Departments to ensure a resolution is met
  • Supporting with preparation of payment runs including liaising with Suppliers via telephone and email

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 5 as a minimum)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word, SharePoint system and Outlook)
  • Experience of working as part of a team
