Overview
Class 1 HGV - ADR Tanker Driver
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Grays, Essex
Working Hours: Based on 6am starts, Monday-Friday, up to 4 nights out per week

Salary: £58,760 per annum based on 60 hours per week
Benefits
- Pay is weekly (Friday).
- Overtime scheme after working 10 hours per day.

- Any nights out will be paid for, and you will be expected to park securely in services when loaded.
- Two to three weeks training is provided if required, and any renewal training (inc CPC & ADR) is paid for by the company.

The Role – Class 1 HGV - ADR Tanker Driver
- In your first two weeks on the job, you would be paired with one of our driver trainers learning how to safely load and deliver various chemicals with different trailers along with following the correct paperwork and procedures in line with customer requirements.
- All PPE for this training would be issued to you prior to starting.
- Your work will vary each week, but you will be return to our Grays depot to start and finish the week.
- All hours paid as per tachograph, including breaks.
- Your jobs will continue to be allocated to you throughout the week via the transport team, so communication with us is essential – any delays, issues, or relevant info.need to be passed on as soon as possible.
Essential skills and qualifications – Class 1 HGV - ADR Tanker Driver
- Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices.
- Valid C+E license.
- At least one years’ experience on class 1 work.
- Valid Digital tacho.
- Up to date CPC Card.
- A current ADR license, all classes except 1 & 7 in tanks.
- Previous tanker experience is an advantage
