Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer with a range of skills to join the growing team delivering OEM, motorsport and niche vehicle projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- The Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer will be responsible for carrying out all phases of assigned vehicle dynamics simulation projects working with the current vehicle dynamics group.
- This will involve many aspects from conceptual studies, modelling and simulations in the appropriate software (Matlab / ADAMS / VI-GRADE), reviewing and analysing results, and report preparation to support our divisions and outside customers.
- The engineer will work within the analysis department and as part of the existing international vehicle dynamics team.
- You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including live motorsport programs, ongoing R&D and automotive OEM work.
Education and Experience:
- If you have more than three years’ experience in a similar or related position within the automotive industry, an Engineering Degree or equivalent and have the drive to reach challenging goals, this position should interest you.
- It is expected that candidates will have worked with appropriate software (preferably Matlab, ADAMS and VI-Grade).
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong mathematics aptitude and problem solving skills.
All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United Kingdom, (EU), hold a valid driver’s license, valid passport and be prepared to travel internationally when required.
