Location: Swinton, Manchester
Working Hours: Office opening hours are 8:00 am to 6.00 pm. Working hours will be 8.5 hours per day with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour. Start and finish times will be agreed on commencement of employment.
Salary: Β£27,500.00 to Β£32,500.00 per annum depending on experience and skills.

We are looking for a full-time experienced Hire Desk Controller / Administrative Assistant to be based in Swinton, Manchester. Comprehensive training and continual support to help you excel in the role will be provided.
The Role:
As Hire Desk Controller / Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking all required administration roles to assist with the Hire Desk and office functions. Responsibilities will include:
- Answering hire enquiries
- Preparing and sending quotations
- Creating, managing and organising hire contracts
- Managing daily deliveries and collections
- Overseeing fuel management contracts and tracking system on our fleet of equipment
What Weβre Looking For:
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills β verbal and written
- IT literate which must include Excel, Word and SharePoint
- Good knowledge of InspHire or similar software packages
Key Skills & Personal Attributes:
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively face-to-face and in writing with all internal and external colleagues
- Excellent time management skills to ensure the workload is carried out effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to safety and following company procedures
- Positive attitude, good timekeeping, and a desire to learn and develop
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to tasks
