The Management Accountant contributes to the overall success of the organisation by effectively managing all financial tasks. The core purpose of the role is to assist the Finance Director with forecasting and ensure financial controls are in place and operating effectively.
The Management Accountant will aid and support in decision making and executive level analysis surrounding forecasting and performance for the organisation. Day to day duties will consist of development and application of analytical tools to interpret financial information for senior stakeholders; working closely with the divisional line managers and commercial teams; assisting in meeting long term profitability objectives; involvement in the management and improvement of reporting tools for the business.
Based within the UK and Ireland Finance team in Camberley, this position works normal office hours, Monday to Friday. The primary focus will be UK and Ireland, but this position will be part of an international team.
Main Responsibilities:
The Management Accountant performs a wide range of duties including the following:
- Budget /forecasting preparation
- Follow-up of invoicing
- Financial accounting and reporting
- Fixed Assets
- Period Close & Consolidations – Execute Financial Close
- Management Reporting
- Accounts payable
- Banking and Treasury
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Business experience, with a focus in Finance or Accounting and a good working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS GAAP
- Excellent computer skills and experience with ERP systems Navision
Education and Training:
- Recognised accounting qualification such as full or part CIMA/ACCA
