We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Forklift Truck Engineer to join our friendly and successful service team in Castle Donington as they continue to expand.
GB Lift Trucks Ltd is an established company selling and supporting a complete range of different manufacturer forklift trucks and warehousing products. Having operated in the East Midlands area for the past 30 years, we have an enviable reputation for customer care, quality and reliability, and pride ourselves on our friendly but professional pre and after sales service.
To be considered for this Forklift Truck Engineer role, you'll require the following essentials:
- Experience as a General Mechanic / Forklift Service Engineer
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Understanding of General Mechanics, preferably Forklift Trucks
- Full driving licence
The successful Forklift Truck Engineer will ideally have mechanical experience with Gas, Diesel and Electric Forklift Trucks, but training will be provided for the successful candidate.
This Forklift Truck Engineer role will involve:
- Servicing, maintaining, overhauling and fault finding on Forklift trucks
- Maintaining vehicle stocks, company tools and manuals
- Keeping all company property clean and in good order
- Ensuring Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to
The salary is very competitive, and a Company van will be provided. Working hours for the role are: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
