We are working with one of the world’s leading technology providers who have their headquarters situated in Milton Keynes. They are currently looking for experienced Java Developers to join their expanding Software Development teams. You won’t have to commute every day for this role. There are flexible and remote working options available, but there will be some expectation for successful Java Developers to come into the office.
We require experienced Java software engineers where Java has been their programming language of choice for pretty much all of their careers. Applicants should be comfortable working across the full stack, utilising JavaScript, and perhaps Angular or Ember.
Key skills required:
- Good working experience of core technologies: Java, JavaScript (ideally with experience of a framework like Angular, React or Ember), HTML, CSS, SQL.
- Experience with Java application servers such as WebSphere, Glassfish or JBoss.
- Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle or SQLServer.
- Familiarity with Build Tools such as Maven.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task on various activities whilst maintaining standards and guidelines.
- Enjoy collaborating with a team but also have the ability to work independently.
- Passionate about testing and Test Driven Development.
- A passion for quality displayed in your coding output.
