As a member of our Crawford Specialty Team, you’ll handle a caseload of Motor Third Party Property Damage Claims from cradle to grave, including negotiating, settling quantum, and assessing legal liability. Reporting to the Highways & Utility Operations Manager, you’ll proactively process new instructions, managing them through the claims process efficiently. You’ll liaise with various parties, including claimants, local authorities, third parties, and emergency services when necessary.

During your investigation, you’ll gather all relevant details, take ownership of each claim, and contribute to productivity targets. You’ll support colleagues with effective planning of instructions and ensure compliance with licence limits, escalating concerns as needed.

  • Maintain contact with all parties throughout each claim’s lifecycle
  • Build relationships to develop trust through respect and prompt resolution
  • Participate in project work, such as process improvements or system development, and propose your own ideas for enhancements

We’re seeking a talented claims professional who champions first-class customer service. Property or motor claims handling experience is preferred, but candidates from a claims or insurance background looking to expand their skills are also welcome.
