I am looking for an experienced MS Dynamics specialist to join my client, a growing capability in an agile and entrepreneurial underwriting firm. They are seeking an interim Dynamics 365 expert to help us design, configure, and implement core components using Microsoft Dynamics (Dataverse).
Experience required:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (esp. Dataverse model-driven apps).
- Expertise in Power Automate, Dynamics workflows, and business rules.
- Familiarity with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or related integration patterns.
- Experience designing entity models, data flows, and UI forms within Dynamics.
- Understanding of case management or approval workflows (ideally in financial services or regulated settings).
- Dynamics release management processes and tooling.
- Able to work cross-functionally with product, dev, and data teams.
- Experience with security setup (RBAC), licensing, and deployment strategies.
- Working in an agile environment, at pace.
Role responsibilities:
- Translate business workflow and underwriting processes into Dynamics 365 workflows, forms, entities, and rules.
- Design and configure case/entity models, relationships, and audit requirements in Dataverse.
- Implement business logic and automation via Power Automate, Business Rules, or plug-ins.
- Integrate with upstream ingestion tools to automate case creation.
- Work with Azure engineers on integrations with enrichment services, document APIs, and external systems (e.g., Moody’s, policy admin).
- Configure role-based access, auditing, and change tracking.
- Define/document configuration for long-term supportability.
