I’m currently partnering with a highly reputable London Market Insurer looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join their growing IT Infrastructure team based in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong 3rd Line / Infrastructure professional who enjoys working across BAU, projects, service improvement, and core infrastructure support within a complex enterprise environment. We’re particularly keen to speak with candidates who are immediately available or on short notice periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and maintaining core infrastructure services
  • Acting as a technical lead on infrastructure change initiatives
  • Managing and improving monitoring, backup, DR, and patching solutions
  • Supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud environments
  • Working across both operational support and strategic infrastructure projects
  • Providing 3rd line escalation support across the business
  • Managing storage and virtualization technologies

Weekend work paid at time and a half. Hybrid working – minimum 1 day per week in the office (business needs dependent).

Location: City of London

On-call Rota: The successful candidate will join the on-call rota after probation (approximately 1 week in every 10 weeks).
