End User Computing Specialist

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS END USER SUPPORT EXPERIENCE.

Hybrid working; 2-3 days in the office per week depending on business needs.

On-call – every two months and weekend work would be mandatory 4 times within the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient operation of all End User Computing systems to support core organisational functions.
  • Help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues to maximise the benefit of the IT environments.

Technical Requirements:

  • Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and ideally Exchange and/or SQL Server.
  • EUC (Win10, VDI on prem/cloud, profile management, user experience monitoring, endpoint management and security, all M365 technologies).
  • Administration, configuration problem solving and analytical troubleshooting ability in EUC technologies such as Citrix, Citrix virtual apps, device image creation (SCCM, InTune, Citrix App Layering, Packer), VMware, Citrix NetScaler, Wyse/IGEL.
  • Cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Citrix Cloud).
  • Proven experience of backup/restore packages.
  • DevOps principals and technologies such as Terraform and Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python, YAML and PowerShell would be advantageous.
  • ITIL V3/4 accreditation.

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS END USER SUPPORT EXPERIENCE.
