My client is a reputable London Market Insurer and they are looking for a dynamic and technology driven Product Manager with previous Insurance experience to join their Technology team. This firm is building a new Product Management capability, and this is an exciting opportunity for an individual to be there at the start of their product journey.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Developing a clear and compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals and user needs.
- Defining and developing product/solution strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ensuring focus on building the right products, building them right, and building them fast.
- Defining scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinating with teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Monitoring progress and reporting on status to management.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitating regular meetings to communicate updates and gather feedback.
- Gathering and analysing data to support decision-making.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in IT Product Management in insurance.
- 5+ years’ experience as a project manager.
- Significant experience leading others within a product team using an agile development methodology.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
- Possess flexibility in methodologies: adapt seamlessly between agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Able to leverage AI for efficiency and opportunities.
