THE ROLE

My client is a reputable Specialist Insurer and they are looking for a DevOps Architect to join their City office on a permanent basis.

• The DevOps Architect is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure and Infrastructure as code.
• To ensure DevOps systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Accountable for enhancing deployment pipelines, improving system performance, and fostering collaboration across various teams to streamline workflows and drive innovation.
• Maintaining documentation and training relating to DevOps Systems.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Demonstrable experience in a DevOps role at an architecture level.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Extensive experience with configuration management tooling: Ansible.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure as code tooling: Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep.
• Extensive experience of CI/CD Tooling: GitLab, GitLab Runners.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and Restful APIs.
• ITIL V3 Foundation accreditation.
