Underwriter – Medical Malpractice
We’re looking for someone with a couple of years’ Med Mal underwriting experience or strong Assist‑Underwriters ready to take the next step.
The Role
- Underwrite a broad range of Medical Malpractice risks across the UK & Europe
- Develop and support the delegated authority portfolio
- Build and manage broker & coverholder relationships
- Review new/renewal business, set pricing, terms, and endorsements
- Identify growth opportunities and contribute to market strategy
- Ensure underwriting accuracy, documentation quality, and service standards
What You’ll Need
- Medical Malpractice underwriting experience (essential)
- Strong technical, analytical, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to develop and maintain market relationships
- Confident communicator and proactive team player
- CII qualifications (desirable but not essential)
