Underwriter – Medical Malpractice

We’re looking for someone with a couple of years’ Med Mal underwriting experience or strong Assist‑Underwriters ready to take the next step.

The Role

• Underwrite a broad range of Medical Malpractice risks across the UK & Europe
• Develop and support the delegated authority portfolio
• Build and manage broker & coverholder relationships
• Review new/renewal business, set pricing, terms, and endorsements
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to market strategy
• Ensure underwriting accuracy, documentation quality, and service standards

What You’ll Need

• Medical Malpractice underwriting experience (essential)
• Strong technical, analytical, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to develop and maintain market relationships
• Confident communicator and proactive team player
• CII qualifications (desirable but not essential)
