City of London | Hybrid (2–3 days per week in office)

A highly respected London Market insurer is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Lead to build and shape its delivery capability from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to influence culture, delivery practice, and ways of working across a modern, product‑led organisation.

In this strategic role, you’ll establish delivery governance, partner closely with Product Leads, manage cross‑team dependencies, and coach a growing team of Delivery Managers. You will help embed an agile, outcome‑focused culture—driving transparency, collaboration, and measurable value across the portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and embedding delivery governance that enables agility, not bureaucracy
• Translating OKRs into quarterly delivery plans and product‑aligned roadmaps
• Owning portfolio‑level reporting and leading quarterly governance
• Coaching and line‑managing Delivery Managers to build capability and consistency
• Championing agile, product‑led ways of working across teams

What We’re Looking For

• Significant experience as a Delivery Lead / Senior Delivery Manager in a complex corporate environment
• Strong track record embedding delivery governance and driving high‑performing delivery culture
• Proven people leadership and coaching experience
• Excellent stakeholder management, especially with senior leaders and Product teams
• Comfortable being the first delivery hire and shaping capability from the ground up
• Pragmatic, confident, and able to influence through both structure and story
