We are seeking a highly capable Technical Lead / Solution Engineer with deep Salesforce expertise to join a global technology function delivering enterprise-scale solutions across Distribution and Underwriting. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and delivery - ideal for someone who can design robust solutions while remaining close to the code and development teams. You will play a key role in shaping technical direction, driving modern engineering practices, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions aligned to business strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end solution design across Salesforce and integrated platforms
- Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Define and implement integration patterns across enterprise systems (REST APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures)
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including mentoring developers, reviewing code, and resolving technical challenges
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and automated deployments
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security, and regulatory requirements
- Support Agile delivery teams through sprint cycles, removing blockers and ensuring high-quality outputs
What We're Looking For
- Salesforce Expertise (Essential)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Flows / Automation
- REST API integrations
- Middleware platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, Boomi)
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Version control systems (Git)
Highly Desirable
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) or Insurance domain
- Exposure to OmniStudio / Vlocity
- Experience working in enterprise-scale, multi-system environments
- Knowledge of data modelling and governance within Salesforce
