A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Delegated Underwriting Assistant to join a prestigious London Market Insurer on a permanent basis. The key purpose of this role is to assist the Delegated UW Manager in managing the administration of all business written under Delegated Authority contracts. The role is working within the DUA team and providing effective oversight of all Delegated business.
This role will suit an Underwriting Assistant with 4+ years' experience of Delegated UW business in a Lloyd's, London Market or Broking firm.
Key responsibilities:- Provide guidance and support to underwriting units in relation to Delegated authority business and ensuring compliance with Lloyd's code of practice and minimum standards.
- Develop and maintain appropriate approval and review processes for new and existing Coverholders & Delegated authority contracts.
- Provide regular reporting, including monitoring of key performance indicators, addressing DUA performance, controls and exception reporting for the DUA team and other stakeholders.
- 4+ years' experience of Delegated UW business from a previous DUA role in a Lloyd's, London Market or Broking firm.
- Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Dynamics to a high standard.
- Lloyd's Systems - Atlas and DCOM.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures.
- Ability to analyse data and present results in a clear and concise manner as appropriate to the audience.
