CNC Machine Operator £12.00 – £15.50 p/h Temp to Perm Working Shift Pattern Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking multiple CNC Operators to join their expanding team. The role involves operating CNC machines to ensure efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for operating one or more CNC machines, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards whilst maintaining a safe and tidy environment. * Undertaking daily machine health checks. * Responsible for stamping own work, NCR reports, traveler bookings and documents. * Actively work with the Production Team Leader and Production Manager to establish key requirements. * Minimise level of scrap components. * Mentor and support new staff and apprentices within the workshop. Essential Skills and Experience: * Previous experience and/or training in a similar role. * Engineering qualification craft apprenticeship or equivalent. * Basic CNC programming and machine competence. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. * Ability to add subtract, divide and multiply in all units of measure. Draw and interpret bar graphs. * Ability to deal with problems and able to apply common sense and carry out instruction.
