Must Have’s

  • A solid understanding of Claims within Personal or Commercial Insurance, Commercial is preferable
  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay organised under pressure
  • Confident with numbers and insurance terminology
  • Empathy - you’ll be supporting clients during difficult times

Nice to have’s

  • Experience handling Liability claims (e.g. Public Liability, Employers’ Liability, D&O)
  • Cert CII qualified or working towards
  • Prior experience working with insurance companies or brokers

So what will you be doing?

  • Acting as the key contact between clients and insurers to guide them through the claims process
  • Advising clients on cover and helping review all documentation
  • Keeping accurate records and files for each claim
  • Liaising with sub-brokers, insurers, and agents to ensure claims are progressing
  • Supporting recovery of uninsured losses where required
