Must Have’s
- A solid understanding of Claims within Personal or Commercial Insurance, Commercial is preferable
- Ability to manage time effectively and stay organised under pressure
- Confident with numbers and insurance terminology
- Empathy - you’ll be supporting clients during difficult times
Nice to have’s
- Experience handling Liability claims (e.g. Public Liability, Employers’ Liability, D&O)
- Cert CII qualified or working towards
- Prior experience working with insurance companies or brokers
So what will you be doing?
- Acting as the key contact between clients and insurers to guide them through the claims process
- Advising clients on cover and helping review all documentation
- Keeping accurate records and files for each claim
- Liaising with sub-brokers, insurers, and agents to ensure claims are progressing
- Supporting recovery of uninsured losses where required
