About Us
My client is a growing company, soon to move into fantastic new offices on the outskirts of Tewkesbury. They are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join their marketing team and support a variety of digital marketing activities. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will assist in website management, content creation, social media, SEO, CRM administration, and general marketing tasks.
Role Overview
This is a support role within the marketing team, where you will assist in executing tasks assigned by the Marketing Director. You will help maintain their websites, create content for blogs and social media, track marketing performance, and support lead generation efforts. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for digital marketing, eager to learn and gain hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Website & E-Commerce Support
- Assist in updating and maintaining company websites and e-commerce platforms.
- Support SEO efforts to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
- Monitor website performance and report insights to the Marketing Director.
- Content & Social Media Support
- Help create and publish engaging blog content.
- Assist in managing and scheduling social media posts.
- Support the creation of video content for YouTube and social media.
- Monitor and engage with the online community.
- Marketing & Lead Tracking
- Assist in executing email marketing campaigns.
- Track marketing performance and provide reports on website traffic, social engagement, and conversions.
- Help with digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
- Support A/B testing and landing page optimization efforts.
- CRM & General Marketing Support
- Maintain and update CRM software with accurate customer data.
- Support marketing automation and lead nurturing activities.
- Assist in organizing marketing events, promotions, and campaigns.
Skills & Experience Required
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms is a plus.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of email marketing and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
