We are recruiting a professional and welcoming Temporary Receptionist to provide cover at a busy serviced office building in Cheltenham while a team member is recovering. This is a key front of house role supporting a full occupancy business centre so reliability, consistency, and a friendly professional manner are essential.

Assignment length: Start around 2 February, initially to 31 March, likely to extend to 30 April depending on recovery time. The client would strongly prefer one committed person for the full period to ensure continuity and a smooth operation.

Working hours: Either 8am to 4pm or 10am to 6pm. Unpaid lunch break.

Pay rate: Β£13.45 per hour, Real Living Wage.

Parking: A parking space will be available on site most of the time which is a real benefit in this location.

The role: You will be the first point of contact for all visitors and tenants in this busy serviced office environment. Key duties include:

  • Welcoming visitors and signing them in
  • Answering and transferring incoming calls
  • Managing meeting rooms and visitor bookings
  • Handling deliveries and post
  • Supporting the building management team
  • Keeping reception and front of house areas professional and presentable

The type of person we are looking for: We are looking for someone who is confident, professional, and used to being the face of a business. You will ideally have:

  • Previous reception or front of house experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A calm, organised approach in a busy environment
  • Strong reliability and commitment for the full assignment
