I2DS is seeking a Project Manager with experience in MES for a 12 month contract in London.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple projects or programs
  • Determines and coordinates the sharing of leveraged resources among projects
  • Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations for project management process improvements
  • Works with Business and Technical resource managers to ensure the needed staff are available and assigned to the project; including entering resource requests
  • Conducting thorough project kick-offs that include confirmation of project scope, roles and responsibilities, and high level timelines
  • Developing, managing, and controlling the project plan/schedule
  • Creation of exception requests, when necessary, to add/delete or change milestones for projects that do not align with the standard milestones
  • Holding status meetings and preparing a weekly status report which includes identification of, and updates to issues and risks
  • Managing and reporting issues and risk, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution and mitigation
  • Creating project charters

Requirements

  • Expertise in implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Experience deploying Weigh & Dispense, Mfg, and Packaging control systems to multiple locations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process in a validated Life Sciences environment
  • Experience managing software development projects
  • Very good documentation skills (roles and responsibilities, stakeholder analysis, project plans and schedules, status reporting)
  • Confident, able to handle tough stakeholders while building trust
  • Excellent relationship building skills are a must
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Life science experience a definite plus
  • 3+ years of experience running projects
  • Experience with project budgets
  • Experience with capacity management tools
  • Experience creating dashboards and communications for the executive level
  • Advanced understanding of software development projects
  • Excellent ability to drive projects to successful completion
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company’s project management information system
  • Advanced ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans
  • Advanced ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance
  • Advanced capability at providing effective performance reporting for the customer and company to monitor progress of the project
  • Advanced facilitation and communication skills
  • Experience working with validated application systems and its documentation requirements, with a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GAMP) and Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliance a plus
