This role will take ownership of payroll, employee relations, case management, and HR processes, ensuring that issues are managed in a structured and consistent way. A strong focus will be placed on supporting and coaching managers to follow best practice, make sound decisions, and apply company procedures correctly. The HR Manager will also have responsibility for managing and developing the HR team, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality approach to HR delivery across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll activity in partnership with Finance, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Ensure all payroll changes (e.g. starters, leavers, contractual changes, absence impacts) are captured and communicated accurately.
- Work closely with Finance to resolve queries and ensure alignment between HR data and payroll outputs.
- Monitor payroll processes to ensure they are applied consistently and in line with company policies and contractual terms.
- Identify and address any issues or discrepancies, ensuring risks are managed appropriately.
- Support ongoing improvements to payroll processes, accuracy, and overall efficiency.
