Job Purpose: To support the Sales & Business Development Team by actively seeking new opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth across the food industry.

Role Accountabilities and Main Duties:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across the UK food sector.
  • Work alongside our call centre team to support lead generation efforts, helping to identify and qualify new business opportunities through strategic outreach and prospecting.
  • Build relationships that matter: Develop deep, trust-based partnerships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate to win: Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to craft compelling proposals and ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Innovate and influence: Bring fresh ideas to the table, challenge the status quo, and help shape our go-to-market strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to keep us one step ahead.

  • A proven track record in B2B sales in the food industry.
  • A well-established network of contacts in food manufacturing, retail, or food safety sectors.

  • A strategic thinker who can translate customers' needs into commercial wins.
  • Provide market information to the management team on our competitor's activity and new business opportunities.

  • Agile and adaptable, you're open to experimenting with new approaches to achieve results.

  • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
