GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Technical Trainer to join our Field Services team based in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality technical training to wind technicians at the Nigg site and support training operations near the Port of Tyne.
- Run classroom sessions, provide theoretical instruction, and lead practical, hands‑on training.
- Guide learners through technical documentation to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required for safe and effective field operations.
- Lead hands‑on training within the nacelle environment, providing real‑world context and building technician confidence in critical tasks.
- Collaborate closely with the GE Vernova training team to ensure full training coverage and provide flexible support at the Port of Tyne as needed.
- Contribute to remote training delivery, maintaining consistency and engagement across both in‑person and virtual learning formats.
- Uphold training quality by maintaining accurate documentation, assessments, and records while ensuring all materials meet GEV standards.
- Foster strong participant engagement through clear instruction, practical demonstrations, and supportive coaching.
- Help sustain a dynamic, safety‑focused training environment that supports the development of a skilled workforce for major offshore wind projects.
Qualifications
- Technically skilled and adaptable trainer with strong wind‑industry experience.
- Excellent communication abilities and the capability to deliver both theoretical and hands‑on training in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
- Solid technical background as an electrician or electrical engineer with essential experience in the wind industry.
- Demonstrated teaching aptitude, patience, and a learner‑focused approach.
