The Offshore SOV Readiness Manager will provide strategic oversight and operational management for all warehouse activities supporting our offshore windfarm fleet. You will act as the vital link between onshore logistics and offshore vessel operations, designing the infrastructure and supply chain strategy that ensures our teams have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. By meticulously managing spare parts, tools, and materials, you will directly influence vessel uptime and operational readiness, while fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Responsibilities
- Design warehouse infrastructure and implement robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) governing the entire offshore material lifecycle.
- Manage inventory levels proactively to prevent stockouts and ensure the fleet is always ready for operation.
- Lead the implementation of 5S methodologies to create a safe, organized, and high-efficiency workspace.
- Coordinate with planning teams to ensure tools and materials are correctly kitted and staged for seamless delivery to Service Operation Vessels (SOVs).
- Enforce rigorous safety protocols to meet the highest HSE and maritime regulatory standards.
- Mentor your warehouse team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence.
Qualifications / Skills for Success
- Significant experience in warehouse management, particularly within renewable energy, maritime, or offshore sectors.
- Ability to translate complex operational requirements into clear, actionable processes.
- Capability to utilize data-driven planning and inventory management systems to optimize supply chain performance.
- Expertise in building and leading high-performing teams from the ground up.
- Understanding of safety and compliance standards within a fast-paced industrial or maritime environment.
- A formal education with a University Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field or logistics certifications are nice to have, but total experience and professional achievements are most important.
