In this role you will play a key part in driving HR excellence, executing critical HR initiatives and developing a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and employees on employee and union relations, employee engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition, retention and workplace investigations.
  • Be the first point of contact for HR topics, escalating concerns as required with HR specialists.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence to execute business‑specific HR strategies.
  • Develop relationships with Trade Union leadership and collaborate to solve problems.
  • Advise leaders to ensure consistent application of policies and promote an ethical, compliant work environment.
  • Identify, report, investigate and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance.
  • Coaching and mentorship for other HR team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean methodologies.
  • Lead site‑wide HR projects across multiple client groups.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited university or equivalent proven experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources (preferred).
  • Strong customer service focus with high responsiveness.
  • Approachable and able to connect with employees at all levels.
  • Supportive team player with drive to create a positive environment.
  • Solid HR judgment ensuring integrity, compliance and confidentiality.
  • Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Flexible working arrangements welcomed.
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required.
