GE HealthCare is seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Account Manager to work within the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) local customer team in Central Zone UK, alongside Modality Product Sales Specialists and Implementation Specialists. This role is primarily a customer-facing commercial role, accountable for developing and executing robust short-, medium-, and long-term territory strategies, driving new account development, expanding existing relationships, and capturing competitive share across complex healthcare environments. The PCS Account Manager is responsible for achieving the Quarterly Operating Plan through strong territory management, strategic customer engagement, and disciplined commercial execution. A passion for healthcare, customer & patient outcomes, and commercial growth is essential for success. Ideal for candidates based in Yorkshire, Derbyshire & the Humber regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth across assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical, procurement, operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify, qualify and progress sales opportunities across the Patient Care Solutions portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and maximise win rates.
  • Support tender submissions, procurement activities and contract implementation.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM records using Heartbeat and SFDC.
  • Spend significant time in the field, engaging directly with customers and identifying opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven success in medical device, healthcare technology, healthcare services or related commercial roles.
  • Experience working with NHS and healthcare organisations in the UK.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve commercial targets and manage complex sales opportunities.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.

Desired Skills

  • Experience managing strategic healthcare accounts.
  • Knowledge of patient monitoring, critical care, peri-operative care, maternal infant care or related healthcare solutions.
  • Understanding of NHS procurement processes and value-based selling methodologies.
