Roles and Responsibilities
- To produce engine components through numerous special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual).
- To deliver a quality product on time to internal and external customers.
- To ensure production flow is maintained at all times.
- To work in accordance with the company's quality procedure: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part‑145 Requirements.
- To follow strict EHS guidelines in all aspects of shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- To liaise with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations.
- Willingness to operate collaboratively with all departments in a shop floor teaming environment.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Knowledge of chemical cleaning processes and abrasive blast process techniques.
- Knowledge of paint spraying and preparation.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good team player with a flexible approach and effective interpersonal skills.
- A responsible/self‑motivated person, willing to make decisions.
- Computer literacy skills, ideally with experience of windows‑based packages.
Desired Characteristics
- Previous experience in aircraft engine industry.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or equivalent techniques.
- Experience in large‑scale production environment.
- Flexibility for potential night shift.
