Job Description Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To produce engine components through numerous special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual).
  • To deliver a quality product on time to internal and external customers.
  • To ensure production flow is maintained at all times.
  • To work in accordance with the company's quality procedure: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-145 Requirements.
  • To follow strict EHS guidelines in all aspects of shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • To liaise with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations.
  • Willingness to operate collaboratively with all departments in a shop floor teaming environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good team player with a flexible approach and effective interpersonal skills.
  • A responsible/self-motivated person, willing to make decisions.
  • Computer literacy skills, ideally with experience of Windows-based packages.

Desired Characteristics

  • Previous experience in the Aircraft Engine industry, Cleaning Bay environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Large Scale Production Environment.
  • Flexibility for potential night shift cover.
  • Knowledge of Chemical Cleaning Processes and abrasive Blast Process techniques.
