The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Aftercare Technician to join our team focusing primarily on the 'golden triangle' region working in London, Oxford, and Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a critical part of our expansion into the London market, showcasing the high-quality service we are known for in Manchester. A commitment to brand awareness is central to our mission. We aim to recruit top-tier talent who share our values, ensuring customer success, striving for excellence, and finding fulfilment in the positive impact of our work.

The Role

You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of plants in various commercial environments ranging from offices to hospitality areas internal/external. You will work closely with our team to ensure that plants are healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and thriving. Your role will involve tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilising, pest maintaining plant health, irrigation, and soil preparation. Attention to detail, a passion for plants, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a background in horticulture and possess practical experience in plant care and maintenance. You should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and be able to perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important. If you are enthusiastic about plants and enjoy working in a dynamic, hands-on environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plant, transplant, and maintain a variety of plants and trees.
  • Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests or diseases.
  • Apply fertilisers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed.
  • Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules where required.
  • Prepare soil and planting beds for optimal plant growth.

  • Maintain records of plant care and maintenance activities via our customised App.
  • Implement sustainable horticultural practices.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Manage logistics dynamically, determining the most efficient way to travel between sites using a combination of public transport, cycling (e.g., Brompton bikes), and on-foot travel, as traditional vans in the city are often impractical.
  • Meet supply vehicles for plant deliveries.
  • Assist with installations with the other teams.

A company van will be supplied for work duties.

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience in horticulture, landscaping, or plant care is essential.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
