We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading earthworks contractor on a permanent basis, working on the prestigious EKFB project in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Engineer looking to take ownership of engineering activities while leading and supporting a team of engineers on a major infrastructure project.
The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of three engineers and ensuring all engineering activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The successful Senior Engineer will be involved in:
- Managing and mentoring a team of engineers
- Carrying out and overseeing design reviews
- Technical approvals and technical queries
- Managing technical information and document control
- Ensuring accurate setting out and engineering records
- Reviewing engineering deliverables and site documentation
- Liaising with site management, designers, and client representatives
- Supporting project delivery across earthworks packages
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality requirements
- Driving engineering best practice across the project
