Are you a recent or incoming Biology, Chemistry or Physics based university graduate with a desire to secure a full-time sixth-form based Science Tutor role in the Balsall Heath area of Birmingham for the coming academic year? We are currently working with an OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college located in the Birmingham area who are eager to add a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Tutor to their superb academic support department for the new academic year.
In this role as a Science Tutor, the successful candidate will be required to provide 1:1, small group & classroom supervision to A-Level students in their specialist subject. This role pays £100 per day during term time with 3 online CPD courses included, and is a Monday to Friday position for the remainder of the academic year.
Science Tutor – Role Information:- Located in Birmingham (B11)
- Paid £100 per day during term time only
- Providing 1:1, small group and classroom supervision to AS & A-Level students
- Working within Biology, Chemistry or Physics subject
- Monday to Friday role – September 2025 to July 2026 contracted role
- Working hours: 08.15am – 16.00pm with 40 minute lunch break
- Minimum expected 2:1 Biology, Chemistry or Physics degree
- Prior experience tutoring, teaching or mentoring
