Pay – Β£33,000-Β£48,500 Per Annum Contract Type – Permanent

i-teachers are currently supporting an ambitious secondary academy located in the Liverpool area who are eager to add a dedicated, ambitious and inspiring Science Teacher able to provide superb learning experiences for their students across their KS3 & KS4 department in a permanent role.

Role/ Key responsibilities

– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards

– Push educational development

– Identify issues in pupils learning

– Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts

– Commitment to safeguarding protocols

– Working across KS3 & KS4 Science subject department

– Biology, Chemistry or Physics subject specialism

– Utilising broad and exciting secondary Science curriculum

– MPS – UPS per annum +TLR available

– Prepare students for exams and assessments

Essential requirements

– 2:1 or above

– A PGCE

– A strong background in science, with relevant experience

– UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)– Secondary Science

– Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism

– Open to both recently qualified and experienced teachers

– Good classroom management skillset

– Good or outstanding lesson observations

– Naturally outgoing and engaging individual

– Passionate about education

– Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to get one
