Are you a recent Chemistry based university graduate with a passion for your specialist subject and a desire to gain first-hand tutoring experience supporting sixth form students through 1:1, small group and consistent classroom supervision? i-teachers are currently working with an OFSTED graded ‘Outstanding’ sixth form college located just outside of Birmingham City Centre who are eager to add a fantastic Chemistry Subject Tutor to their wonderful teaching & learning department in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as a Chemistry Subject Tutor, the successful candidate will be working Monday to Friday based inside of an OFSTED rated ‘outstanding’ sixth form college, earning £475 per week providing a mixture of 1:1, small group and classroom supervision support to A-Level students within the Chemistry subject.

Chemistry Tutor – Role Information:

  • Located in Birmingham (B11)
  • January 2025 to July 2025 contracted role
  • Paid £475 per week during term time
  • Monday to Friday role based in one OFSTED ‘Outstanding’ college
  • Providing 1:1, small group & classroom supervision within Chemistry subject
  • Conducting support sessions inside and outside of classroom environment

Chemistry Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Chemistry subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring or mentoring
