Salary: Starting rate will be dependent on the successful applicant's age and previous experience. Pay will be reviewed as skills, spraying competence and responsibilities develop. The company will fund appropriate training and development associated with progression towards becoming a competent Industrial Paint Sprayer.
We are looking for a practical and reliable person to join our team as a Trainee Industrial Paint Sprayer and Yard Operative.
The role will initially involve preparing shipping containers and fabricated steelwork for painting, including cleaning, sanding, surface preparation, corrosion treatment, masking and priming. You will gradually learn industrial spray-painting techniques while working alongside an experienced professional sprayer.
When paint-shop work is quieter, you will assist with general container, workshop and yard duties.
Previous spray-painting experience is not essential. We will provide full practical training, with opportunities for external training and progression into a skilled Industrial Paint Sprayer role.
