Providing expert temporary talent solutions for the life sciences industry, with a specialised focus on Quality Assurance and Technical Operations.

Our client is looking for a Project Procurement Lead to take charge of major CAPEX projects worth up to £500m. You will be the driving force behind procurement strategy, supplier management and contract delivery on high-value projects in the pharmaceutical sector.

The role:

  • Own and deliver procurement strategies on complex, high-value projects.
  • Manage full procurement cycle – from sourcing and contracts to close-out.
  • Oversee procurement of critical goods (equipment, utilities, lab kit, consumables) and services (construction, HVAC, engineering, fit-out).
  • Lead the Procurement Master Plan – keeping projects on track and risks under control.
  • Work with project leaders, technical experts and global suppliers to get things done.

About you:

  • Solid background in large-scale CAPEX procurement (pharma/biotech a big plus).
  • Strong experience in plant construction, procurement and contract management.
  • 10+ years in project procurement, with a track record of delivering results.
  • A confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Fluent in English (German is a bonus).
