We're partnering with a rapidly growing, venture-backed technology company that is transforming how pharmaceutical organisations use complex data to drive strategic decision-making. We're looking for a Data Engineer to join a high-performing team building scalable data platforms and delivering innovative solutions for enterprise clients.

Central London (minimum 3 days per week in the office)

Start date: This is an urgent hire, therefore applicants with notice periods longer than one month will not be suitable.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Integrating large structured and unstructured datasets
  • Developing data acquisition and web-scraping processes
  • Using LLMs for data extraction, validation and enrichment
  • Working across cloud-based environments including Azure and Databricks
  • Collaborating closely with product, commercial and engineering teams

Requirements:

  • Strong Data Engineering experience
  • Advanced Python and SQL skills
  • Experience building production-grade data pipelines
  • Experience with APIs, data integration and large datasets
  • Experience using LLMs within data workflows
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences data experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership mindset
