A recruitment agency based in Codsall is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in the Telford area. Our client is a leading engineering and fabrication business supplying high-quality components to customers across a range of industrial sectors. Due to continued growth and increased production demands, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their night shift team.
The Role
This is a shop floor-based position where you will be responsible for inspecting manufactured components and ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out dimensional inspections of manufactured components.
- Use a variety of measuring equipment and inspection tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Identify and report quality issues and non-conformances.
- Ensure inspection records are completed accurately.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Confident using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable and able to work permanent night shifts.
