I Need Staff Today Limited (Codsall) are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in high-quality plastic injection moulding solutions. Our client supplies components to a range of industries and is known for its investment in modern machinery, strong production standards, and continuous improvement culture.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Production Cell Leader to take responsibility for an 8-machine area on a busy injection moulding shop floor. This is a shop floor-based role, where you will lead from the front supporting operators, maintaining performance, and ensuring quality standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operators and material handlers within your cell
- Ensure machines are running efficiently and fully staffed
- Carry out 4-hourly checks across 8 machines
- Inspect parts, packaging, and labelling to ensure specification compliance
- Manage first-off and last-off samples
- Act quickly on production issues (including stopping machines if required)
- Maintain Health and Safety standards
