About the Role
I Need Staff Today Limited is recruiting on behalf of an established environmental services company based in the Wolverhampton (WV10) area. Our client is a well-established waste management business providing waste collection, transfer and recycling services to commercial customers across the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Experienced Waste Transfer Operative to join their busy waste processing and transfer station. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous waste management or recycling experience who is looking for long-term, stable employment with opportunities for training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile plant, machinery and counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
- Identify, segregate and process a variety of waste and recyclable materials, including hazardous and clinical waste.
- Load and unload commercial vehicles, containers and skips.
- Complete and maintain accurate operational records and paperwork.
- Ensure waste is handled in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
