I Need Staff Today Limited is a recruitment agency based in Codsall. We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established metal fabrication and engineering company based in West Bromwich .
Our client manufactures high-quality steelwork and bespoke metal products for customers across the commercial, industrial and construction sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking 3.5 Tonne Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their team.
This is a varied role, with approximately 50% driving and 50% warehouse duties , making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment.
The Role Your responsibilities will include:
Driving a 3.5 tonne company vehicle to deliver and collect materials.
Loading and unloading goods safely.
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
Assisting with goods in and goods out.
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
Following all health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For To be considered for this role, you should have:
A full UK driving licence.
Previous experience driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
Warehouse experience would be an advantage.
Good communication and organisational skills.
A reliable, flexible and hardworking attitude.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail.
